Erin Kershaw, BS, RN, DEM
My name is Erin Kershaw, and I am a dedicated homebirth midwife serving Bucks County. Originally from Bethlehem, I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and political science from Moravian College. I began my midwifery journey in the spring of 2012, graduating from the WomanCraft Midwifery Program in January 2014. Since then, I've trained under four experienced midwives, accumulating over 60 years of collective experience. I opened my midwifery practice in 2016 and have had the privilege of attending over 500 births.
My passion for midwifery was solidified after my first home birth in August 2012, an amazing experience that confirmed my calling. As a mother of three, I understand the profound impact a positive birth experience can have on a family. I am particularly passionate about supporting vaginal breech births and am one of the few midwives in the area who regularly attends these types of births.
In addition to my midwifery practice, I am a registered nurse and have a strong commitment to volunteer work. I frequently volunteer at birth centers in low-resource settings, driven by my desire to support and empower birthing families everywhere.
